304 stainless steel can tolerate temperatures up to 1,598 °F for short periods of time without ill effect, and temperatures up to 1,697 °F for extended periods of time. These tolerances are well above sanitation temperatures.

Recommended cleaning products:

  • Hospital Disinfectants: Stainless steel holds up to most hospital disinfectants (except bleach/cleaners with chlorine).
  • Commercial/Household Cleaners: Non-abrasive, neutral household cleaners, as well as commercial stainless steel and glass cleaners are extremely effective in cleaning stainless steel.
  • Clean Water & Wipe: Warm, clean or soapy water and soft wipe.
